Football clubs impact on the communities in which they are rooted. Football4community is a place to tell the amazing and inspirational stories about footballers and the role they  have off the field of play, supporting causes and projects that benefit the communities in which they live.

 Meet the team

The website is curated by Tom Woodhouse, who is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Bradford in the UK. He is also a member of the Advisory Panel to the Independent Football Ombudsman, Professor Derek Fraser. The IFO is recognised by the Football Association, the Premier League and the English Football League.  While focussed mostly on football in England, football4community follows the game globally with a team of leading advisers. Technical support from Gerard Blanc (database management)  and Tony  Chapman (web surfer and archivist).
